Abstract

|
Cervical pregnancy is a rare complication of the gestation in which the ovum implants in the cervical mucosa below the level of the histologic cervical os. The etioloty is unknown, but the surgical damage, abortion and multiparity are suspected.
Because
of the profuse vaginal bleeding, hysterectomy usually was done in the management of cervical pregnancy.
We report a case serial beta-human chorionic gonadotropin levels, magnetic resonance imaging, and sonography to diagnose the cervical pregnancy and follow up after therapy. Hysterectomy was avoided, and the patient's reprocutvie capability was
preserved.
